Anika James Performing Arts Scholarship for NATS Competitors

This scholarship has been established to promote young female singers who participate in the annual National Association of Teachers of Singing (NATS) competition.  It is offered to female competitors in the Music Theater Competition.

Anika participated in this competition in 2006 when she was only 14 years old.  She received high marks for a first-time participant and was selected to compete in the finals.

Every year during the NATS competition those who place highest in their respective groups perform in a singing event in the late afternoon.  A panel of judges selected by NATS will determine the AJF scholarship recipient from among these finalists.
