Robert James, Ph.D.
Robert James is a licensed psychologist who earned his Ph.D. from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. His work has included individual, couples, and group therapy, as well as diversity and professional training for businesses, universities, and community organizations.
Robert’s love of the performing arts deepened while watching his daughter Anika excel in singing, dance, and theatre. Through the foundation, he helps carry forward her passion for creativity, service, and the healthy development of young people.
Mahtaj James, MBA
Mahtaj James earned her Master of Business Administration from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and built a long career in audit, finance, tax, management, and regulatory operations.
She has also worked with children in underserved communities, helping them build confidence, character, and a commitment to service. Inspired by Anika, Mahtaj continues that work through the foundation's scholarships, grants, and programs for young people.
